All of our events are ‘Not for profit’ the money raised going to fund the event itself, any surplus being used towards the next event with a percentage being donated to charity. We are very proud to actively support two charities, ‘UNICEF’ the world’s leading organisation for children, lesser known but still very close to our hearts ‘Fior Di Loto Foundation’ India, whose focus is on providing education and improving the life condition of more than 300 poor girls living in the villages surrounding PushKar.
To date we have raised a grand total of £12,965 which has been donated to charity, for ‘Fior Di Loto Foundation’ the money was used directly to supply free school supplies to students most in need, to ensure every child is given the chance to learn and succeed. This would not have been made possible without your wonderful support for which we would like to say THANK YOU.
We are also acutely aware of how important it is to inspire the future generation, as a result and when possible each of our guests will try to engage with as many school children during their visit to the UK, over the last 12 years at least 8000 children will have seen/listened to and met Apollo astronauts and Russian cosmonauts through visits organised by Space Lectures.
